Meet the Team

As the Director of Operations at Zip Zap IT, Robert ensures that multiple contracts deliver value to clients and their customers. With an M.S. from The George Washington University, Robert brings over 20 years of experience delivering IT solutions to government and private organizations. Outside of the office, “I love to volunteer my time to help kids excel in school.”

Carley drives contracting strategy, proposal operations, and strategic partnerships for Zip Zap IT. With a B.A. in Journalism from Point Park University, Carley has led proposal development, coordinated multi-stakeholder technical updates, and managed mission-critical grant system communications. When she’s not leading proposals or chasing opportunities, Carley is usually chasing after her daughter Juniper or caring for her menagerie of pets, including two dogs, two cats, and a flock of stubborn backyard chickens.

Jason designs clear, intuitive experiences and builds the solutions to back them up. He bridges design and development so that the products he creates “look good, work right, and solve the real problem.” Outside of Zip Zap IT, he enjoys playing guitar, making art, and photography.

Alexis utilizes strategic planning, relationship building, and wordsmithery to expand Zip Zap IT’s portfolio and strengthen market positioning. She conducts competitive research, contributes to proposal development, and builds relationships with key contacts. Alexis holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University. Her experience includes technical writing and developer advocacy within the civil engineering and infrastructure industries. She is a member of the Rewriting the Code and Columbia in Tech communities. Outside of work, she loves to watch films at her local movie theater, search thrift stores for hidden gems, and travel the world.

As a senior developer, Azadar supports multiple development tasks in alignment with Zip Zap IT’s federal contracts and private clients. He has a Master of Computer Science degree and over 20 years of experience in the field. Outside of the office, you can find him playing Catan, crushing opponents in tennis, and bicycling.

Armando is a Systems Administrator at Zip Zap IT, where he supports the company’s Research and Development (R&D) in AI and technology operations and helps ensure reliable, secure systems for both the organization and its clients. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Texas at El Paso and continues to expand his knowledge in information technology, software engineering, and cybersecurity. Outside of work, Armando enjoys playing musical instruments, video games, and exploring new technologies.

Tracie is proud to help federal clients share timely, effective, and accurate messaging while advancing mission-specific goals. She also assists with Business Development, including proposal editing and content marketing efforts. With a background in journalism, Tracie has edited for Metro US, ABC News, and The New York Times. She has also spent nearly 20 years in progressive editorial leadership roles within the public sector. With a dual degree in English and Theater Studies from Northeastern University, Tracie can be found enjoying live performances across NYC, where she lives with her wife, Nikki, and beagle, Charles.

At Zip Zap IT, Natalie supports Zip Zap IT’s internal operations through accounting, payroll, HR, and administrative management. With a background in accounting and technology, she brings strong organizational and problem-solving skills to her role while helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Natalie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Accounting at New Mexico State University. Outside of work and school, she enjoys staying active and spending time on creative hobbies.

Yara brings more than 13 years of accounting, finance, and operational experience to Zip Zap IT Solutions. Her background includes serving as Finance Manager, Controller, and Senior Accountant, with expertise in full-cycle accounting (GAAP and DCAA), project accounting, and internal controls. A Certified Bookkeeper, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Enrolled Agent, and CPA Candidate, Yara combines strong financial expertise with extensive experience implementing and optimizing accounting systems and business processes. She has worked across a variety of industries and understands how accurate financial information, effective controls, and well-designed processes support better business decisions and sustainable growth. At Zip Zap IT, Yara oversees accounting and financial operations while helping strengthen the processes and systems that support the company’s continued growth. Her approach emphasizes accuracy, accountability, organization, and translating financial information into practical business insight. A U.S. Army and Georgia Army National Guard veteran, Yara also brings a strong sense of service, discipline, and teamwork. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring different cultures through food and discovering new cuisines.
